Benoit Vanhees says:

Saw some nice dresses in this program, but also a lot of rubbish praised by a small inner circle or mutual admiration society as if it was something comparable to Mozart or Tsjaikowski. 80 % buzz, 20 % inventive, 0 % elegance. I can understand why Armani didn't like it. And sorry, but what the heck is so sublime about pictures in front of weather balloons ? Again, if you get some "big" names / opinion makers saying it is ab-so-lu-te-ly-fan-tas-ti-co, you'll quickly get a whole lot of people perroting this. I know good taste is subjective, but hell, many of his designs were even louder than his villa in Florida… Seeing him sitting there with his sister in a very well studied nonchalant way in this loud sofa, in front of loud windows in that very loud place, I'm not surprised they were well liked in Florida and Hollywood. Sorry, but real class is something else, I don't mind having to go into the other direction than all those kitsch worshippers.
