Alyssa Weichel says:

It is a prêt-à-porter show, literally meaning something ready to wear in the everyday. I personally think Raff pulled this off perfectly. I’m excited to see what he might come up with for the couture F/W collection.

Frank Suarez says:

BTW, I’m my opinion, they expended so MUCH more money in the backgrounds, than in the clothe itself!

Frank Suarez says:

Dior died in 2012, I mean, I really liked the last shows (2012’s), but this year really REALLY sucks, I’m sorry but it’s true!

sagisgems says:

impecable, clásico,—-aburrido– pero con piezas muy interesantes, elegantes y muy femeninas

Joey Zen says:

It’s kind of boring but I do like how it is also clothing to wear on any given day and not be looked at crazily.

Leopoldo Díaz Vega says:

I know Raff understand completely about the style of Dior. But I really like the interpretation of Dior that Galliano had

pavel kozlov says:

Dior 2013 : fabric and stitching//Model report : No Expression, No Emotional, Not Inspired//Note: Backstage is still full of underage teenager smoking and eating vegetable sandwich with no Emotion what so ever.

Caprice Surnamed says:

and you are so right!

Caprice Surnamed says:

History, really? Who cares about CD’s history at this point in time when it’s all about moving forward. I dont want to be reminded of the history that is so old simply because at this point in time it’s irelevant. JG was (still is in my eyes) the only one who can take CD into the future with a sick twist hidden in the clothes be it a split in some dress or laced up leather pants, there was a sense of euro trash shick. Watch CD 2003 FW….exactly ten years ago. what a diff!

jeab hon says:

i don’t like

Irina Bah says:

This is Very bad !!!

troubleinparadiso says:

i think dior is lost at the moment… some great pieces but dizzying overall – so many ideas no anchor just a drift in the sky…

seanzscorpio says:

ARE YOU TELLING ME RAFS CLOTHES ARE MORE MASTERFULLY CONSTRUCTED THAN GALLIANOS? Since when has Dior been for “Every day life” we have Reiss for every day life? God dammit this “who will wear that” statement is killing the creativity and excess of fashion. This was the very reason people loved Dior, Couture or No Couture, Dior’s excess is what made it so magical. Fashion is about making people dream. Some houses SHOULD be in your face, leave the wearable to the boring ones! Accessible = Ugly.

akadaka69 says:

Galliano was a genius no doubt. But Raf’s clothes are intelligent and thoughtful and masterfully constructed. The root of Dior is this idea of ‘modernism’ and it is so refreshing to see someone deconstruct it in a way that isn’t like “Look at me! im big and poofy and in your face!!!!”. No one can wear a Galliano creation in everyday life. Raf has allowed that world to be accessible and made it so the clothes are defined by the person not the other way around.

mint657 says:

plain, dull, cheap please bring back Galliano

Astrid Starbird says:

If this is winter, all I have to say is burrrrrrr!

cyril benavides says:

raf can be a great designer at chloe… please leave dior…

Diana klim says:

This is Very bad, THIS IS NOT DIOR!!! Dior like to show a woman’s curves by creating a slim waist line and a well fitted garment. THIS IS GARBAGE!! get Ralf off of Dior!!

iamjorgedaniel says:

I agree with you ! Raf is just changing colors and a few shapes. You can see some Dior’s codes but that’s it. If He were a “super-designer” as everybody says to you He could re-design a whole collection

iamjorgedaniel says:

This “collection” has nothing to do with Fall/Winter. I mean, what kind of woman in the world would wear strapless pieces made with a light chiffon with 40°F ??? Anyway, it looks really cheap, like a bad version of Carolina Herrera SS13. Raf can express Dior’s shapes, but NOT the Dior’s spirit 😉

cyril benavides says:

i think raf’s inspiration for this collection is all about amelia earheart flying cross the pacific while thinking of a “NEW HAIRCUT” reaching the howland island and lost forever.. i just wonder how her haircut will be?

drumerchandising says:

and then 2 the the end of space the shaichs

drumerchandising says:

takin the train 2 ulan bator

drumerchandising says:

the best vacation ever … saw the schaich incl. his wife at paris gare east

drumerchandising says:

inclusive lanvin entrance tickets

drumerchandising says:

i won ihle vacation 2 paris the best

Leo Rosshandler says:

exquisite

Joshua Soberanes says:

Yeah but not by losing all the DNA of the house.

seanzscorpio says:

I advise you to practice what you preach… The part about thinking before you type. Raf is NOT considered a watershed in fashion history. His work will go on until the time he is at Dior. He is only as fashionable the time he is at Dior. Galliano however is a legacy a true visionary who took Dior to new heights. Picked up a dusty old house and made it into a modern Goliath. Raf is just riding on what Dior is now. Stable, boring and an archaic description of “Modern”. VOMIT all over it…

Axel Ivan Mendotza Gonzalez Snz says:

Galliano moving forward? Raf going back?… You should think a little bit more before taping on the keyboard. Raf is considered a watershed in fashion history, we are talking about the heir of the legacy from masters like Margiela, Van Noten, Yamamoto, Kawakubo, Lang, Sander… Galliano, well…he was a dressmaker with a huge heritage in his hands & what did he do?… pretty dresses. Just that.

iamjorgedaniel says:

The dresses are sooo spring summer !!!

iamjorgedaniel says:

I agree with you !!

Kjadija Kassa says:

excellent collection

cyril benavides says:

let’s not mistook his pride for his attitude.

halfacig says:

Thank you so much for uploading that, pure beauty and the soundtrack adds to it immensely.

gladitsnotme says:

jimmyjk08 says:

i personally thought the soundtrack was great, it really gets you into a state with this collection, and its surreal. its great.

seanzscorpio says:

And you do? Stop being so pretentious. He isn’t Dior. People don’t revert back to what was. It should be moving forward. Galliano did that. Raf is just… Boring.

wadchulukinat says:

I think Raf has taken Dior a step backwards. I agree that Raf is paying homage to how Dior’s dresses were once constructed, but at the same time Galliano has also evolved Dior to a great success, staging show after show of pure fantasies. I wish that Raf paid Galliano some respect as well instead of making the same outfits over and over. This collection looked no different from the last, and I’m sure the next collection would be too. I’m sorry, for this I have officially lost my love for Dior…

Prisca Umba says:

I like how he combines the old Dior aesthetic and the thetric of Galliono (backdrop). 🙂

anasky89 says:

he still has a lot of respect, but he’s got attitude too! as far as the rumours go, he said he doesn’t want to be back to Dior or to do anything with LVMH
and he’s right! I hope he starts his own brand and again, that’s what people are keep saying

putrikalimantan says:

The soundtrack is so distracting but I love love the coats and the bias-cut dresses!

cyril benavides says:

its a lot of improvement compare to his s/s collections. i just hope the venue is as much as interesting as the clothes but it ends up being safe again.. i hope one day people who think that galliano is already irrelevant, might look back on what he have done on dior and please admit that during his time, we’ve all been excited to see his flambouyant collections. one day he might regain the respect of the fashion industry. i hope he doesn’t end up like michael jackson. i love galliano!

saaaaaandler says:

I cannot stop listening to this soundtrack. It’s so perfectly executed.

Yani Hartonen says:

its way too arty for me as consumer! And as it happens i dunno any context which lies beneath staging or prints on dressess or soundtrack. i’m sorry but the show its self does not sell to me and make my feel dumb which;s last feeling i wish to have while browsing for new clothes!
