(4 Jul 2017) CELINE DION WEARS FLOWERY LOUIS XV COAT DRESS AT VALLI COUTURE SHOW
Celine Dion sat front row at Giambattista Valli’s Couture Fall/Winter 2017 show Monday (3 JULY) in Paris.
The Canadian recording artist wore a romantic short coat-dress with a pink floral pattern and pagoda sleeves, reminiscent of the early 18th century style favored at Louis XV’s court.
Dion also donned pink sunglasses and raspberry red, knee-high, suede boots.
Front row regulars included Vogue’s Anna Wintour, American socialite Olivia Palermo and Russian model Elena Perminova.
The collection was presented in the courtyard of the Grand Palais museum, overlooking a small garden from which the Italian designer seemed to have picked the most beautiful flowers to adorn his garments.
Models wore mostly cocktail dresses featuring exquisite floral embroideries and patterns, including soft pink daisies, fuchsia or scarlet red tulips, ivory lily of the valley, and blue and lavender forget-me-nots.
Paris Haute Couture Fashion week runs through 6 June 2017.
